Divination

I use divination practices for my personal life and in every session. My primary divination technique is dowsing, which has been a practice of mine since 2006. Dowsing is an old technique that was used to locate water sources and precious metals with the help of a metal wire or rod. A pendulum can also be used to dowse. I use a swinging metal rod to help me tune into the vibration of the truth. This keeps me tuned into what is most beneficial for each individual client and prevents me from falling into my own egoic agenda. Dowsing keeps me honest and true with the work I am doing and my rod has become like an extension of my dominant hand, affirming my intuition and guiding the session as we work. I also dowse when I am planning classes, planning things for my own personal life and when I am feeling unclear about what direction to go. Over the years, dowsing has strengthened my connection with the divine and my confidence in my own intuition. I teach dowsing in the complimentary Level I Energy Mastery Series as a technique to help people begin to raise their awareness and tune into the vibration of universal truth when navigating their lives, as opposed to personal will.

The other form of divination I use, more for my personal life, is tarot. I have a few sets of tarot cards that I have been gifted and just started using recently within the past few years. I practice with a friend of mine who has more experience and she has shown me how to interpret the cards as I go and relate them to whatever is happening in my life. Sometimes I pull one card for the day, week, situation or question. Other times I pull three cards for past, present and future. On big occasions, like birthdays and New Years I do a big spread and get a high level overview.

Astrology is also a form of divination that I have personally found to be very helpful for me. I do not practice astrology personally, but I had a life coach for years who most recently applied my brith chart to our work together, which illuminated the areas that challenge me most in this lifetime and highlighted my potential. I use our work together as a roadmap for all aspects of my life and keep in mind the challenges I have to work through in this lifetime so I don’t get blindsided when they arise.

There are many other forms of divination. I have found that these are the three that have helped me to navigate my path with clear divine guidance in connection with Universal truth.

I know very well that many scientists consider dowsing as they do astrology, as a type of ancient superstition. According to my conviction this is, unjustified. The dowsing rod is a simple instrument which shows the uncanny reaction of the human nervous system to certain factors which are unknown to us at this time.”
